I am an artist born, raised, and based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Art has been a constant throughout my life, beginning with hours spent drawing imagined characters with friends and creating paintings for family members from a young age.
That early interest continued through college and university, eventually leading to the completion of a Bachelor of Design and Visual Arts (BDVA) at Unitec in 2013.

In the years since, alongside the development of my own practice, I have also built a background in picture framing. Working closely with artworks and framing techniques has strongly shaped the way I approach materials, craftsmanship, and presentation. It has also given me a deep appreciation for precision, construction, and spatial relationships, continuing to influence the way I think about form, boundaries, and presentation.

My website archives include work dating back to 2010, my final year of college, offering a timeline of how my ideas, techniques, and practice have evolved over the years. For collectors, this also provides a clear sense of long-term commitment, growth, and continuity within my practice.

I’ve always been drawn to speculative fiction and systems-based thinking, particularly worlds built around layered rules, progression, and interconnected structures. Those interests naturally feed into the way I approach both creativity and problem-solving, with structured systems also becoming an effective way for me to think about and progress through my practice.
